About this deal

I was drenched in Scouse saliva, had lost my dignity thanks to Tesco putting too many bubbles in their shit plonk and I had never felt so plain and ugly in my life. My house was a shithole and my eyebrows were, quite frankly, substandard. I had spent half an hour of my Friday night feeling incredibly uncomfortable with a couple of morons who I had absolutely nothing in common with but, here’s the thing, a curveball if you will, I sort of liked them. The Fam Well I am a food writer and my husband is a police officer. Matt immediately stood up and said Evening all and bent both of his legs. FFS.

Genealogical and memorial history of the state of New Jersey : a book [record] of the achievements of her people in the making of a commonwealth and the founding of a nation" by Francis Bazley Lee; pub. New York: Lewis Historical Publishing Co. (LH 1272, HeritageQuest images 4/2007 & 7/2007; FHL film 514,673-514,674 and 16,534-16,535, entitled "a record of the achievements") The arrival of new neighbours at number 23 thrusts the word “neighbourly” into an entirely new dimension, forever altering Raquel and her family’s lives. In an uncharted territory, Raquel finds herself grappling to maintain her family’s safety. No good deed goes unpunished, eh? So I tried again. Well OK, any vegetable, or meat or fish or sometimes a starter, dessert. Anything to do with food. William Duncan married Catherine, daughter of William and Mary Benson, of Belleville, and had two sons,-- Livingston W., born Aug. 4, 1828, in Bloomfield, N.J., and Henry B., whose birth occurred Jan. 15, 1840. Mr. Duncan, in 1835, in connection with his brothers and a partner, erected print-works at Franklin, N.J., and two years later started a woolen mill at the same point. In 1855 he built the mill which is at present operated by his sons in Franklin. His death occurred Jan. 22, 1877. His wife survives and resides at Franklin. Henry B. Duncan received a substantial education in Franklin, and at the Seymour Classical Institute, in Bloomfield. He subsequently entered his father's mill, and on becoming familiar with the various departments of the business, was admitted, at the age of 22, to a partnership. In connection with his brother, he is now proprietor of the business. He was, in September, 1864, married to Annie M., daughter of Silas Young, of Sussex County, N.J., and has two children, a daughter,-- Millie Livingston, and a son, William Livingston. Mr. Duncan has been as a Democrat interested in local political measures, and for ten years acted as treasurer of the township of Franklin. His interest in the cause of education has prompted him to serve for fifteen years as trustee of the schools of the township. He is a member of the Reformed (Dutch) Church of Franklin, and superintendent of the Sunday-school of that church. The military unit was frequently the Company Letter, the Regiment Number, sometimes US Vet Vol Inf. (US Veteran Volunteer Infantry), L.A. (Light Artillery), H.A. (Heavy Artillery), US C Inf (US Colored? Infantry), Cav. (Cavalry), Mil. Guards, V.R.C. (?Volunteer Reserve Corps?), etc. Sometimes there were several service units given.

I shook Matt’s hand very firmly, creating a tension in my arm to stop any physical ideas of him coming in for a kiss. Manual of the North Reformed Church, Newark, N.J." (Essex Co.) (anonymous); pub. N.J.: unknown (LH2541, HeritageQuest images 5/24/2007)

The author behind this uproarious tale, NJ Miller, is an ordinary neighbour you might spot on a school run in her slippers, a slave to her hormones, stumbling through life with a hopeful smile. Writing has always been her passion, and with her debut novel, she aims to bring smiles to her readers. Preferring to remain anonymous, NJ Miller lets her work speak for itself. I work in IT actually Raq, all very boring, just a desk job in town. He clearly had no interest in his job which was bloody marvellous because I did not want to hear about it. Nobody who works in IT should ever talk about working in IT to a non-IT person. It’s just rude. Also very presumptuous to chop my name in half without asking, I noted. I am Raquel. Raquel with a q. They both looked horribly confused as to where this q would actually go. Autumn is upon us and there’s no better time to curl up with a book and “23” is a cosy crime caper which as it happens is also very funny. Set near Manchester there are some proper LOL lines and twists to keep you entertained. I really hope the author leaves the anonymity behind because I really need to know who's behind the name. I am so looking forward to reading more books by you!Essex County, N.J., illustrated : a souvenir in which is presented a brief sketch of the early settlement of Essex County ..." by M.H.C. Vail; pub. Newark, N.J.: L.J. Hardman (LH 1545, HeritageQuest images 5/2007; FHL fiche 6,046,120) Matt sniggered and winked at me. I know where you live, luv, I’ve seen you twitching your blinds and looking at me arse.

We meet Raquel, wife to Dave, mother to 3 kids, sister to Mel, daughter to the most annoying parents. Raquel is a foodie, a writer, and definitely an overthinker, especially if there is wine involved. An “overthinker” by nature, Raquel has a penchant for wine that might be slightly more generous than it should be. Over the course of one summer, she unwittingly sets in motion a catastrophic series of events that could only be rectified by a miracle. Babes and Luv were now on my ‘things people say’ hate list. ‘Cool Beans’ would probably always be at the top, with ‘unprecedented’ a close second banded about during the pandemic by every man and his dog. I did make a promise to myself to sneeze in the face of the next person who said it. I am still waiting with baited mucus. Duncan, William H., widow Duncan, Lettia M., minor Laird, J.N., Gdn.; Corp. A 28 NJ Inf.; 1864 Oct. 26, Widow Appl. #70063, Cert. #51997; 1870 Sept. 9, Minor Appl. #189964, Cert. #144961. (MAD: ? 1850 Monmouth Co. NJ, 1860 Essex Co. NJ) Hmm the laughs just kept on coming. I was furious and mortified that Matt had not let this slide but I had to keep it cool and just very Britishly said, Excuse me. His shoulders still shook for a good two minutes afterwards. Another kiss was heading my way, this time it landed awkwardly on my forehead because I looked at the floor at the wrong time, a cheap floor that was masquerading as real wood.
