About this deal

the joy of an inexpensive pen with a broad or stub nib: shimmering inks, sheening inks, no fear of ruining something super collectable/rare/vintage My son had braces on his teeth. I think I tried using a spare elastic from his brace. It was about the same size as the o ring. and it looks like the model has a metal connector; as well, the pen's overall weight is far greater than that of the Sailor Lecoule. I had to fix each and every one of them, which is not a big problem for me. 10 of them I actually ground into architect. On one pen I even put a Graf von Faber Castell gold nib. It's probably the most expensive Jinhao 82 in the world right now. This should adequately illustrate what you are dealing with, if you choose to go down that path yourself:

When I first cleaning it, blue inks come out, seems like recently Jinhao do test all their newer pen / nib, I've blue ink come out on Jinhao 80 too. Sorry! I meant the Chinese pen maker's lacquer pen with the butterflies and inlays from the previous link. Just following suit to try to create more of the ‘exclusive’ and/or ‘limited edition’ Sailor Professional Gear Slim look with otherwise oh-so-ordinary, plain-coloured plastics: How well are the Jinhao 82 at sealing? Has anyone in a dry climate had one inked long enough to comment on their resistance to drying out?PCS Jinhao 82 Fountain Pen Transparent Purple Acrylic Writing Pen Gold Trim Converter Pen Office Gift

Classic Design - The pen adopts a classic design with a slim streamlined shape, and its surface is treated with a piano lacquer process for a glossy finish. Now that I look at the stub nib, compared to the nib that came with the pen, I don’t think it’s a compatible nib. Darn. Jinhao 100 Centennial Rainbow Resin Fountain Pen Arrow Clip, EF/F/M/Bent Nib Gold Trim Converter Pen Writing Gift Pen I already have two Delike New Moon pens, a blue and a pink. And they are similar in size to the Sailor Sapporo, but fall short (naturally) in terms of writing. But the Delike were two for fifteen, so… Well, the colors. I would buy at least the yellow, but I don't want a Pikachu yellow, just a soft pastel. I could say the same of the green.this Jinhao 82 screams Sailor PG or PGS all around. Really want to see people posting a side by side picture comparing the 2. If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case. That might be true but I think Jinhao designers had a Sailor on their double screen when they designed this one...

But I do have to admit that literally not a single pen wrote good out of the box, and I don't even have strict standards, but 99% of them had overtightened tines and scratchy as hell. Smooth Writing - Equipped with a two-tone Iridium medium nib, it writes like silk, smoothly, constantly, and utterly non-scratchy, suitable for daily writing or calligraphy writing.

When capping and uncapping, here's the place I can notice that this is indeed a cheap pen feel, there's some sort of vibration can be felt that make me feel the price point of this pen. I mean, is nothing big deal, just a faint feeling. For comparison, capping and uncapping on a Kaweco sport, Jinhao 992, X159 felt better. Built quality of JH82 I would say is overall quite good. I think X159 (and even the 992) gives me a better feeling quality pen. I'm liking the Jinhao 82, great little pen.

I can assure you that those who make them, Jinhao, have them too, and that their pictures are actual photographic representations of the real thing, not non-photos. 😏 Which very well might be , just as Sailor's designer had in mind also , styling after some long established and proven design and that itself is nothing wrong , pens been around for thousands of years and the ergonomic pretty much all ironed out and some basic form always it's will be My Jinhao 82 finally arrived, I got the pastel blue with gold trims. The pastel blue is really really pastel, soft looking. Hmmm, I don't know about the barrel finial, but it looks like the cap finial is held in place by a screw and (4.5mm 5.0mm diameter ?) nut. However, the inner cap liner is in the way of using a tool to immobilise the nut, so must be pulled out before the nut can be accessed to remove the cap finial and swap them around between pens; and I don't have such a tool. For deliveries to the Rest of the World, Royal Mail suggests up to 21 working days for parcels to arrive.
